This month we get to try a taster of Nordic Walking. We’ll meet at the bowling club as normal but then we’ll head over to St. Andrew’s park, and then head back to the club for our WI business after we’ve had our trial at nordic walking. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
Local author of ‘The Fair Fight’
Anna will talk to us about female boxers in 18th Century Britain and attitudes to women in sport. The Fair Fight is set in Bristol and is being made into a film. So come and hear her speak before it hits the big screen.

How we can all work towards this year’s resolution
We hear from FoodCycle on, what is food waste? why it matters? and what we can all do to help to reduce food poverty.
This month we’ll be hearing from Diana Penny one of the yoga teachers from our local YogaWest. We’ll hear about the basic principles of yoga with demonstrations of some of the techniques.
