Victoria Humphries, the story of the first all-women’s expedition to the North Pole.
21 February
Small-scale & container veg gardening, with Lia Leendertz, garden writer and blogger extraordinaire.
20 March
Hypnotherapy with Sally Falconer-Hall of Henleaze Hypnotherapy
17 April
Knit & Natter with Emma. Learn to knit, and if you already know then learn a new pattern or bring your project along to show!
15 May
Aardman Animations. Merlin will be talking to us about Wallace & Gromit and taking us through Morph Making.
19 June
Samba dancing. Instructor Claudia Silva is going to teach us some beginning moves to this brilliant Brazilian beat.
17 July
Storytelling with Martin Maudsley. The organiser of Bristol’s very own Storytelling Festival will be delighting us with spellbinding tales.
21 August
Felt making. Inspiring teacher and crafter, Kirsty Mahoney, will be showing us how to make felt and how it can be used to make all sorts of wonderful creations.
18 September
(TV and Theatre make up talk with Inma Azorin. Make up tips and how to be a zombie will make for an interesting evening!) Unfortunately a no-show but we were rescued by the amazing Lia Leendertz who happened to have a talk ready on Allotment Folk. The subject of which she has just written a book about.

AGM & ACWW. International charity, Associated Country Women of the World, will be speaking to us about their fantastic work. As it’ll be a special occasion, we will have a variety of other things on as well and can welcome new members for 2013.
