What the heck is Pinterest?

Pinterest is a visual bookmarking tool that helps you discover and save creative ideas. Imagine it as a online scrapbook, that enables you to collate images that you find useful from all over the web. From recipes to local history any image can be pinned (saved) onto a ‘Board’. Other users can then follow those boards and you can follow boards yourself. You can add your own images or collate images from other people. Creating a rich collection of images that represent you and your interests.
