Get Creative – Celebrate Women!

We’ve revamped our competition to win a Denman Bursary.  We want you to celebrate women in any way you like. So it could be about yourself or any woman – family, colleague, famous woman – who inspires you.

So get your creative hats on. You could write a poem, or a short story, or perhaps create a painting or photograph. There are no fixed categories so feel free to use any other imaginative craft you can think of. Let’s see how creative our WI can be!

We have three prizes: First prize is £200 and two follow up prizes of £100 for you to spend on a course at Denman. The deadline is the October meeting for judging, with the winners being announced at the quiz in November.

The Gloucester Road WI is a diverse group of women with some amazing skills and experience.

We formed in 2011, and currently have over 50 members who meet monthly and engage in an activity or listen to a speaker. We also fundraise for local charities and participate in the national WI campaigns and initiatives.
